A very challenging and interesting record. Of course, if justice was really done, Candie Payne will be there. I suspect though that she won’t qualify.
Well, I didn’t see that coming.
I have the album and it is not bad.
It’s quite good actually, but I think it is neither definitive or extraordinary. It’s just a good record.
The bookies were ultimately favouring Bats for Lashes which is an extraordinary album, but also not definitive and actually, apart from a few songs, not that good.
Amy’s drug stuff probably lost her it.
On the night I thought Fionn and Basquait Strings were most interesting.
Of the shortlist I have to say I think the best record (yes RECORD said the old man) was Arctic Monkeys’ opus2.
