I heard on the radio this morning that Glenrothes Councillor, Alf Patey, refused British Legionnaires the right to carry their Union flags at the recent dedication of a War Memorial because, get this, he didn’t want the event to become “too military”.

It’s a freaking WAR Memorial.

The man is an arse and a petition demanding his resignation is being set up. If you’re in the area you should sign it.
