It was one of those “remember where you were” moments.
The most pulsating and stimulating sporting event I can remember.
I can’t recall the last time that we, as a family sat so transfixed by a sporting event.
Thank you both of you.

Oh, I feel guilty about interrupting it and blathering about houses now! You were very restrained!
Comment by Norman Lamont July 6, 2008 @ 11:21 pmWe didn’t start watching it until about 6pm when Mark came back in with Tom, so don’t worry.
It was the most amazing game I’ve ever seen. Ria and I wanted Nadal and Mark and Tom wanted Federer to win.
Comment by markgorman July 7, 2008 @ 12:55 amWhat an epic five set match by the two titans of tennis. My eyes were glued to this marathon for 4 hours and 48 minutes! This was the greatest and perhaps the best quality tennis I have ever witnessed in any tournament. Congrats to Nadal for taking down the great Federer.
