Mum’s Dove

My mother made this in a mosaic night school class in the 1970’s. I quite liked it at the time, but I saw it in a new light when I stayed overnight with her at the weekend.

I think it’s lovely.

Emily and I have been fighting over it for years,you may be surprised to know that if you lick it, it tastes of salt!Don’t ask me why I licked in the first placd,maybe because the tiles look like wee sweets, I dont know but craving salt as much as I do I used to lick it quite regularly as a child! weird moi?
