… Simon Shakeshaft.
Who went long and won by a considerable margin.
However, I am pleased to say I am finally a blogging, bitching, moaning, grumping, halumphing millionaire.
And, more importantly, St Columba’s Hospice is £902 richer and Simon Shakeshaft is £100 and a bottle of bubbly richer.
Well done! Consistently worth reading, informative and fun. You do a lot of stuff so we don’t have to. Have a good 2011.

hey Grumpy Munter, well done. Shame you didn’t make the £1000. Tell you what. I’ll put in £50 if anybody else is prepared to chip in to make the grand. C’mon, there’s got to be some people out there who still have money after xmas!

Could maybe put in £5 but checked bank DDs and SOs out that I pay more to charities than I do to bills every four weeks…I am going to have to get to grips with my conscience and chisel this guilt thing a bit or there won’t be enough for the bills.
Well, it’s a fiver less to collect.
Anyone else struggle with those pics of babies starving or climbing rubbish tips, people blind because they can’t afford the surgery, people in need of clean water, abused children, starving, abused beasties cruelly treated? I am overcome with guilt when I buy myself even a bar of chocolate which I know I don’t need and my hips certainly don’t need.
It’s such an ill divided world we live in.
Well done Mark. I so admire people who put their effort and wit into fund raising for charity.
